THE CASA DEL VINO TENERIFE, El SAUZAL The House of Wine of Tenerife - former Hacienda de San Simn - dates from the 17th century. The style that keeps in its walls responds to the characteristics of the Canarian building of the time, collecting aspects in which the detail of master craftsmen of Portuguese, Spanish and Extremaduran origin reigns. Stresses the roof of the Hermitage that, without having been restored, remains intact, dazzling visitors thanks to its beauty. We have a themed room housed in the old red wine cellar of the hacienda, where visitors can take a tour that begins detailing the history of the wines of Tenerife until they reach the current status of the vitivincola sector insular. The room has improvements in terms of decoration and presentation of information panels in which QR Codes have been introduced, which facilitate that the information that is present in them can be seen in four different languages: Spanish, English, German and French . The best way to end the tour of the island's wine culture is to experience the flavors of a selection of the best wines on the island. Located in the old implements rooms and integrated next to the wine cellar, there is the Tasting and Wine Tasting Room. Whites, pinks and reds make up an extensive menu that represents the designations of origin of the island of Tenerife, which are accompanied by exquisite cheeses of islea production and nuts. Iglesia de San Pedro Apostol
The Church of San Pedro Apóstol de El Sauzal is one of the monuments that the inhabitants of this northern town of Tenerife feel most proud of. The beginning of the construction of the church of San Pedro Apóstol began in the 16th century, concretely in 1515, although the works that gave it the appearance it currently presents are of the XVIII and XIX centuries. The Church of San Pedro Apóstol was the fourth that was built on the island and was Declared an Asset of Interest Cultural in the year 2005 and is dedicated to the patron of the municipality. The tower of the church dates from the 18th century and has a quadrangular plan with black stone corners. Among the elements that can be seen inside it is worth mentioning its painting of souls, of which the author is not known, but which dates from the 18th century and is on the right side of the chapel. We must also mention the altarpieces and paintings of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The chapel of the epistle of the church is also one of those prominent places where you can see the image of Saint Peter the Apostle whose festival is celebrated at the end of June.

Casa Museo de la Sierva de Dios
In the Sauzal you will find the House Museum of the Servant of God, which was the dwelling where Sister María de Jesús lived that was known in the Canary Islands as the Siervita de Dios. This nun led an austere and simple life in a convent of La Laguna, throughout her life several miracles were attributed to her, although three years after her death the incorrupt body of the nun was miraculously discovered . For years, every February 15 the House Museum of the Servant of God receives hundreds of parishioners to see through the sarcophagus the body of the Servant of God, to which prayers and promises are directed. It is believed that the current Casa Museo which is located in Sauzal was the birthplace of Sister María de Jesús , in him it is possible to know in depth the life and the miracles that are attributed to them. Through the utensils, documents and furniture you can know how was the day to day of the Servant of God.

Parque los Lavaderos
Among the most interesting and prominent places in the municipality of El Sauzal is the Parque Mirador de Los Lavaderos, a perfect place to relax, enjoy a quiet afternoon and at the same time have impressive views of the coast of this part of the island. This is one of the most interesting green areas of El Sauzal, from where you can have a spectacular view of the Teide and the coastline. It is located near the town center of the municipality by the lower part of the church of San Pedro Apóstol and 200 meters above sea level.
The park and viewpoint has this name because for years this place housed a public laundry in which natural water flowed and reached a flow of between 25 and 50 cubic meters.
In 1987 the City Council converted the surroundings into a recreational area for the use and enjoyment of the town.
Currently the Parque Mirador de Los Lavaderos has become a meeting place for neighbors and visitors where you can relax and admire the views that give this point of El Sauzal

Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Los Ángeles
Between the 15th and 16th centuries, once the island of Tenerife had been conquered and its lands distributed Adelantado Alfonso Fernández de Lugo established in what is now the municipality of El Sauzal the place of residence of both him and his family. The climate and the existence of springs of fresh water were the main reasons for which it was decided for its election, thus the population nucleus of El Sauzal was founded. In 1505 one of the first constructions was the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Angels, concretely it is the third oldest ecclesiastical building of Tenerife, and located in the area of greatest population settlement at that time. This point had an interesting development thanks to the fertile lands, the kindness of the climate and the ease to obtain water. The Hermitage of Our Lady of Los Angeles is characterized by its simple construction and whitewashed on the outside, it is composed of a single nave, with white walls and covered by wooden roof four waters, the interior of the temple has a main altar where the image of the Virgin of Los Angeles stands out.

Las Breñas
In El Sauzal another of the must-see places offered by another of the most impressive views of the northern part of Tenerife is the Mirador de Las Breñas This picturesque place is located in the Urbanización La Primavera, belonging to El Sauzal, from here the path of Las Breñas starts, a path that goes from Punta del Puertito to Rojas, a tour through the Paseo del Litoral del Sauzal and where you can see the entire Protected Landscape of Costa de Acentejo which is also part of the municipalities of La Matanza, Tacoronte, La Victoria, Santa Ursula and La Orotava. The Mirador de Las Breñas is located on the top of a cliff and is divided into two heights, you can see a garden area and overlooking the viewpoint itself sculpture with a plaque that pays tribute to the fishermen of Puertito del Sauzal who helped in an air accident that took place in the area in September 1966, thanks to them and after an emergency landing, no occupant of the aircraft died. From the viewpoint you can see the entire coast of El Sauzal, Pesquero Alto, Punta Larga, Morro El Cangrejillo, El Teide, the Risco de La Quinta or Puerto de la Cruz among others.
